In honor of George Washington's birthday, Mrs. Royer's Kindergarten class at Enderly Heights Elementary School had a visit from Mr. Andrew Wolfe, President of Mariner Media, Inc., and Dr. Frank Grizzard, author of
George! A Guide To All Things Washington. Dr. Grizzard is a research scholar and director of the Lee Family Digital Archive at Washington and Lee University.

In celebration of Black History Month, Mrs. Mary Eggleston and Mr. Stephen Smith provided displays and informative class presentations in the Parry McCluer High School Library.

Oh the places you will go! Joanna was first runner up in the English Speaking Union's Shakespeare contest at the Blackfriars Theater in Staunton. Swim club members Aaron and Molly qualified for the state meet at ODU. Harlie will compete in the Twirlmania Gold Invitational at Walt Disney World, and Matt, Aaron, Paul, and Nathan will compete at the State Wrestling tournament in Salem. Go Blues!

Congratulations to Parry McCluer High School History Teacher, Paul Bevington, who has been awarded
a full scholarship for a 10 day trip to China by EF Educational Tours.
